JUST FOR TEENS...
Our Page...
First things first. Nobody here's going to tell you that it's easy being a teenager with Tourette Syndrome. Unless, of course, YOU think it's easy - and if you do, then share your opinion! Because this page is all about what YOU think. Plenty of teens with TS have mild symptoms and it's no big deal. Others struggle with OCD issues and the tics aren't a problem. Still others face life every day with significant motor and vocal tics and other struggles. But, whatever you're dealing with, please know that there are others who have walked the same path, faced the same issues, and can help.
Send us your artwork, your poetry, your questions, and your answers to share on the site. We want the world to know what a teen with TS is all about - the highs and lows just like any other teen, the talents, the achievements, the struggles, the problems. Send us your contribution (with parent permission if you're under 18) and we'll post it right here to share with all of our web visitors. (don't worry - we don't post last names or school names)
TSAGW has a “buddy system” for our chapter members. If you’d
like to meet another teen in your area with TS with similar interests, please
let us know. We’ll do our best to hook you up. We can also help find you an
“on-line buddy” if you prefer. Just call our chapter office or email us to
find out more.
